She
entered in ANEK fleet in 1973, joining the sister Rethimnon.
Mainly employed on Piraeus - Heraklion Line, after
the arrival in the Aegean Seas of F/B’s “Lissos” and
“Lato”, was employed in various routes: first in the
Piraeus - Peloponnese - Crete routes, replacing the Miras Ferries’s F/B Theseus, linking the ports of Piraeus, Neapolis,
Gythion and Kalamata in Peloponnese, the islands of Kithira
and Antikithira and the port of Kasteli,
on Crete Island, then, after two seasons on this line was chartered to DANE in
1999, being deployed on Dodecanese routes (Piraeus - Patmos
- Leros - Kalymnos - Kos - Rhodes and Piraeus - Astypalea
- Kalymnos - Kos - Rhodes).
This charter lasted only a year; in 2000 the ferry was repainted in ANEK’s colours and, after the licence gained by Anek Lines to serve
